The members of the Tourist Board of the City of Šibenik recently visited a Tourist Fair in Oslo, Norway, and come back with (maybe not so) surprising results. Among the numerous questions about tourist destinations in Dalmatia they were also faced with the huge interest for the properties along the Dalmatian Coast. Norwegian citizens are showing the great interest for houses and apartments in Dalmatia.

During the 2006. year only, the Norwegians bought more than 10.000 houses and other types of property abroad. Spain, France and Italy were the "top destination" countries, but more investment opportunities recently turned their attention towards Tailand, Brasil, Bulgaria, Montenegro and Croatia.

The most interesting area in Croatia is the central part of Dalmatia - from Trogir to Zadar. The Norwegians with the most sense for a good investment already started to buy properties - houses in pitoresque turist places like Primošten and Vodice. The biggest interest has been showed for apartments or houses from 80 to 120 sq. meters in good locations.
